The benefit of not being the first to get stuck into these modules is that there are so many people around to help me! And I am very glad for this help. Between Ben and Jay I cluncked my way through this process, changing my mind about creative issues like 'name' and prettiness of the blog page.
I found the process quite good once I had done it a couple of times (lots of changes!) and now I can't wait to do a real blog!
After watching the third video on Web 2 in this module I was a bit bar humbug about it. Its main message was about how "we are in control", but I disagree. With everybody being able to get access to things on the internet my profile isn't safe, especially as a teacher. I hate the thought of being identifiable on here.
It was pretty straight forward, but still don't fully understand the link between the igoogle site, the blog, the Web 2 site etc. I think they are all independant of each other...so many things to keep track of!
What would I do without the guidance of others??!! Thankyou!
But, man I still get what all the bits are called...name, title, address, handle?? Why can' things be basic? Its all good! :)
